Wat Sawang Arom

This is a temple near to Nakhon Chaisi just outside of Bangkok, Thailand. The temple seems to be dedicated to some quite unusual deities and also performs the function of dealing with spiritual refuse or waste. Pi Ta Khon

This festival is celebrated in the village of Dansai in Loei Province, Thailand in June every year. It's all about ghosts. Some people are afraid to go there. A huge crowd still goes and the place comes alive with a wonderful party atmosphere punctuated by clanging and crashing costumes. Read more about it here.
