Dietary Dilemma

It was Christmas and I gave up my normal eating regime since it was too difficult being with friends and family over the festive season. This resulted in me eating out in pubs and restaurants (some of these quite expensive) and thus exposing myself to processed foods, meat, chemicals, sugar, alcohol and lactose (which I avoid like the plague). The results were inevitable – upset stomach, gas production, the resulting lack of sleep – it was a miserable time. As soon as I was on my own again, recovery took a week of eating raw fruit and vegetables, high quality baby foods (organic and guaranteed free of everything undesirable – imagine those angry mothers with poisoned babies). Dandelion root tea also helped a lot. When I am alone I consume nuts, green vegetables, seeds, fruit, berries, herbal teas, ginger, garlic, turmeric, raw cacao (nibs or beans) and water. I feel great and my stomach is settled again !
