by motorcycle (in England it would be viewed as a moped or a scooter). Having done the trip a few times by minibus I decided to drive myself the 120km of which 82km consists of 762 steep switchback hairpin bends on a narrow road connecting the two cities. The route is famous for car sickness and vomiting tourists and I wanted to prove my theory that you can’t get carsick on a motorbike 😜
I felt like an astronaut ready to step into the unknown.
Filling up country style was the only option along the way and coffee was offered by a witch.
It all worked out fine despite the slippery road, which had slipped away in places.
After the exhilarating drive I checked into my temporary home in a bamboo forest
and got to put my feet up for a rest
To be continued…
Nice travel log
